| Vision. The Harvard Business School’s Asia Business Club (“ABC”) is a leading student body that provides the HBS community with a convenient channel to share ideas and knowledge about Asia, and fosters long-term relationships among its members, HBS alumni and Asian business leaders.
Mission. Through its activities such as the annual conference, distinguished speaker series, retreats and social events, the Asia Business Club seeks to achieve the following for its members:

Distinguished speaker series and dinners are held on a regular basis to provide a platform for communication and exchange of ideas among business leaders, policy makers and scholars on macroeconomic and industry trends relevant to doing business in Asia. Past speakers include heads and representatives of global financial institutions, the American Chamber of Commerce, Securities and Futures Exchange, and the World Bank. Asia Treks are HBS student or faculty-led visits to Asian countries that offer unique opportunities to explore business conducts, career options and culture in Asia. Past treks have included organized trips to Japan, Korea, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines
The annual Lunar New Year Banquet and region-specific food festivals promote the diverse aspects of Asian countries through the showcase of live music, artistic performances, traditional food and costumes. The Annual Asia Business Conference at the Harvard Business School is a key highlight of the Asia Business Club. It is the largest Asia-focused business conference in North America, and brings together outstanding leaders of business, government and community to address the diverse and rapidly-changing needs and demands of the Asian business community.
